About the Center for Courage & Renewal:
The Center for Courage & Renewal (CCR) exists to nurture deep integrity and relational trust, building the foundation for a more loving, equitable, and healthy world. We are a nonprofit organization that nurtures supportive communities of reflection and practice to help people come alive with a renewed sense of purpose and cultivate the courage to rise to today’s challenges.
Through our Courage & Renewal® approach and Circle of Trust® programs, educators, clergy, nonprofit leaders, healthcare workers, entrepreneurs, social justice activists, students, parents, and citizens from all walks of life who want to contribute to creating a better world, nurture their integrity and humanity, build relational trust, and cultivate the courage to show up more fully in the relationships, organizations, and causes they care about.
Our work is unfolding at a time when humanity is at a distinct tipping point. The devastating impacts of the divided life — in all its many forms — and the suffering wrought on our lives, our communities, and our planet are undeniable. We are bearing witness to increasing levels of burnout and institutional abandonment; distrust in each other and the institutions we rely on; growing mental health challenges and an epidemic of loneliness. The world we have built based on this way of being is increasingly untenable.
A growing number of people are seeking creative, sustainable solutions to unprecedented personal and societal challenges. CCR helps meet this need by bringing powerful resources that help individuals and communities move away from destructive paradigms based on division and oppression toward life-giving frameworks rooted in the deeper truths of interconnection and wholeness.
Over the past several years we have strengthened the organizational foundation for scaling our global impact. Today, we are positioned better than ever — both strategically and operationally — to meet the growing demand for our work and take the next big step in bringing our vision to life.
