“Paths take us forward but they also take us back into the past and into ourselves.” ~ Geoff Nicholson
What invitations do paths offer?
How do we set out on the path ahead?
Toronto‘s High Park offers a rich and enticing setting to ponder these questions, and explore the natural history of the land and our place in its ever evolving story.
During this in-person, outdoor retreat, we will pause for meditation, engage with short texts, reflect on our relationship with nature, and listen deeply to each other’s wisdom. We’ll walk the park’s paths and trails and uncover the beauty and mystery to be found there.
We’ll follow the Courage & Renewal® approach to create a welcoming, caring and trustworthy space for participants to reflect and share.
Give yourself the gift of a few quiet hours away from the busyness of daily life.
“Paths are the story of humans journeying on foot. They have a beginning, a middle and an end. They point forward toward the journey’s goal but also behind to all who have traveled this same path before us, including those who created the first track.” ~Torbjørn Ekelund
