    Hello folks,

You are receiving this message because you were a part of the Aging with Courage & Wisdom Facilitator group on Jostle. I am wondering how you feel about turning this into a public group?? I have noticed that this is a popular area of interest for many people joining the larger community. If and when the need arises we can always restart a Facilitator only group. Thank you in advance for your input

I think this makes a lot of sense, Nichelle.

I agree with Cat, this makes sense. What isn’t clear to me is if this is the right title. I assume it includes those involved with Aging with Courage & Wisdom, and also Soul of Aging events? Maybe a more generic name so there is no confusion?

What good ideas. Thanks Nichelle. I agree with Cat and Wint -simpler is best so why not combine Soul of Aging and ACW. There’s clearly a growing interest in this arena and such a gift that this as a venue for conversations and perhaps offerings!

Thank you all for the replies and for helping me think through this. The original thought process behind having a separate SOA group was because it has a set curriculum that is maintained, updated and offered as an Alumni Institute through CCR. The platform is set up so that programs with curriculums (practicum, foundations, SOA) are all “Subgroups” located in the private “Practitioners Learning Community”. These are meant to be groups of continued learning and community with others who have gone through specific curriculum.

How has Aging with Courage and Wisdom been done or used in the past? Is it similar to say..a Courage to Lead or Courage to Teach?? Where Facilitators use the basic concepts and build their own offerings around it? If that is the case, I think we can keep the title of ACW and make that the open group that folks who are interested in the broad topic of aging can join. What say you friends???

Ah – good points Nichelle. As far as I know ACW isn’t offering any curricula or retreats so I think (if that is so) that keeping ACW and Soul of Aging separate is the best plan. Warmly, Penny
