In a time when educators are stretched thin, this day offers a chance to return to what is most vital: the heart of the teacher. Rooted in the work of Parker J. Palmer and the Center for Courage & Renewal®, this experience invites you into a community of care and reflection—where resilience is nourished, awe is rekindled, and your vocation is honored not as a job, but as a radical act of love.
Together we will:
- Renew heart, mind, and your “inner teacher” by exploring the deep connection between what you do and who you are becoming
- Reconnect to your vocation by naming your gifts, acknowledging your limits, and honoring the deeper why that brought you to this path
- Engage with like-minded peers in a space of safety, honesty, and trust—where awe can be shared and difference can be held with reverence
- Experience the Courage & Renewal® approach through stories, stillness, and communal reflection that centers what is tender and true
- Practice deep listening and the art of open, honest questions as a way of tending the heart of your work
- Cultivate inner clarity and embodied resilience as you prepare for the year ahead—with renewed courage, rooted presence, and a sense of awe that might carry you through even the hardest days
