Welcome to the Community

Thanks for becoming a member of the Center for Courage & Renewal!

We are so glad you’ve taken this step. You can now access the Courage & Renewal Community Platform using the username and password credentials you entered when you submitted the signup form. Below we’ve included some guidance about first steps that you might take after you’ve logged in. Please let us know if there’s anything we can do to help.

You should also receive a confirmation email and receipt with the details of your membership registration.

Steps for Getting Started

1. Update your profile

Once you’ve logged in, the first thing you might want to do is update your profile. Select the “My Profile” tab on the left hand sidebar menu to see a detailed view of your profile information. If you want to add a profile picture, background cover photo, or more information about who you are, click the “profile” tab, and you’ll find all of the editing functions to get your profile looking sharp.

2. Introduce yourself

Once you’ve updated your profile, we invite and encourage you to say hello in the Dashboard community feed. To do this, click “Dashboard” in the left sidebar menu and then click “Share what’s on your mind..” From there, you can share whatever feels right to you. You might offer a reflection based on the Weekly Reflection to the right side of the screen. Or you might just introduce yourself and say hello. You are welcome here, and we want to get to know you better!

3. Join groups

Groups are a great way to be in community with others who are interested in the same subjects or focus areas that you are or who identify in a similar way to you. On the menu sidebar click “Groups” and you’ll find a directory of public groups that you can join. Within these groups you’ll be able to share resources, start discussions, and ask questions that bring about new insights or learnings for everyone. You’ll notice that there are some private groups in the directory that you would have to be invited to or given access to. These private groups are built for certain circumstances around things like our Facilitator Collaboration group which is for those people who have completed our Facilitator Preparation Program.

4. Make connections

When you navigate to the “Connections” tab in the menu sidebar, you’ll find a directory of all current Center for Courage & Renewal members. You can filter by sector and focus area, and toggle to map view to find other members in your local area.
