Barbara Coeyman is an Accredited Interim Minister in the Unitarian Universalist Association. Coming up on the twentieth anniversary of her ordination, she is currently interim minister at the Boulder Valley UU Fellowship in Lafayette CO, after service in New England, the mid-Atlantic, and the Midwest. “Circles of Trust” has significantly expanded her approach to ministry, one of her most effective tools for inspiring the change asked of congregations during interim time. She also draws on the inspiration of Unitarian naturalists such as Emerson and Thoreau to incorporate the natural world into both Courage facilitation and ministry. She has recently brought “Circles of Trust” to the Field Seminar program in Yellowstone Park. From her earlier career in music history, Barbara loves playing early music and attending social dance — particularly contradance and English Country Dance — as well as digging in archives to uncover little known 19th-century woman’s rights activists. For Barbara’s love of hiking, skiing and other outdoor activities, living in the Front Range of Colorado is pretty much like heaven!
