After a 20 year consulting practice with organizations from a wide range of sectors, Barbara Hummel is newly semi-retired, choosing to continue only with one-on-one leadership coaching and Courage work. Since 2002 she has co-facilitated both Courage to Teach and Courage to Lead retreats in the Midwest. Prior to her consulting practice she served as Executive Director of the Madison Area Quality Improvement Network, a membership organization devoted to helping businesses and organizations from every sector learn about quality improvement and systems thinking. Barb has a master’s degree in counseling. She lives in Madison, Wisconsin. She enjoys reading, water color, kayaking, crossword puzzles, and travel.
