I serve s a high school STEM educator, an adjunct professor in education, and a yoga instructor at a local studio. I first encountered CCR through reading Parker’s book, The Courage to Teach. Since that point (Spring 2016), I have endeavored to weave the Center’s Principles and Practices into both my professional and personal life. When I’m not “out and about,” you can find me at home on my back porch, one of my favorite places to be. I live in Keezletown, Virginia, located in the Shenandoah Valley, about 2.5 hours southwest of Washington, D.C. I am honored to be a part of this Courage community!
Favorite quote
We do not "come into" this world; we come out of it, as leaves from a tree. As the ocean "waves," the universe "peoples." Every individual is an expression of the whole realm of nature, a unique action of the total universe.
