Jeanne Strong is a life-long educator. Her work as a facilitator for the Center for Courage & Renewal brings together many aspects of her personal and professional commitment to create healthy learning environments based on integrity and respect, to promote equity and social justice, to bring together in ‘Circles of Trust’ individuals from many different professions who want to make a difference in the world. In retirement she has traveled extensively, and is bringing about social change and peaceful solutions through the education of young children in remote regions of East Africa. Jeanne is a Whidbey Island resident and a member of its Quaker community.
