Margaret Golden, EdD, is a Professor Emerita at Dominican University of California and the Director of Forum for Teacher Well-Being at Millennium. Prepared as a facilitator by the Center for Courage and Renewal, she directed the Courage to Teach® program at Dominican University for 16 years before transitioning to Millennium to develop Forum, an online community to help educators embody the mindfulness and social and emotional capacities they seek to develop in their students. Margaret is passionate about educational equity and the creation of trustworthy spaces for engaging in heartfelt, often difficult, conversations. The mother of two amazing adult daughters, Caroline and Savannah, she lives in Berkeley, California with her partner David, and dog Eli. She enjoys the practice of yoga, long walks in the hills, travels to the sea, and quality time with family and friends near and far.
