María Rocío, identify as Community Facilitator in Leadership processes with 20 years of experience working in education mainly for local Leaders and Youth in Guatemala Central America. She is an intercultural communicator who supports the social change that comes from the people. Her professional approach is based on fundamental values of authenticity, integrity, generosity, curiosity, collaboration, respect, and contribution that lead her to accompany Local Leaders who work in Guatemalan communities.
She had the opportunity to study in 2010 the Fellowship Program with iLEAP International Faculty Member in Seattle WA and after that experience with the learning process she Co-found the non-profit organization ALG Association for Leadership Guatemala in 2013 where she created and implemented the curricula and program that supported Local Leaders in their professional learning from the nonprofit sector, supporting more than 30 leaders during her involvement.
Graduated at the Academy for Leaders with Courage Renewal program in 2013 and Facilitator with the Center for Courage and Renewal in 2014-2016. She has develop several Circles of Trust approach programs in Spanish with participation of woman and men, and continues sharing her practice of the C&R philosophy at her daily work.
She holds a double Certification of Coaching by Mens Venilia Guatemala Program – Executive Life and Shadowing Coaching.
She is an active student of the Mayan philosophy, Reiki, and Yoga practices.
