Mary Louise Peters is a Courage and Renewal Facilitator ® prepared by the Center for Courage & Renewal. She offers personal and professional renewal experiences in retreat and credit-based formats. Facilitation and relationship-based practices have been central to Mary’s work experiences.
As a an educational consultant, she works with nationally with partners and states in their provision of special education services for children ages birth through five years and their families. Mary’s long-standing career as an educator has included early childhood teaching, program coordination, and instructing at the college level. Her work at national, state, and local levels has been focused on family and community involvement, collaborative system building, interagency coordination, grant management, and professional development.
Mary is a poet, having contributed to anthologies, blogs, and publications.
Madison, Wisconsin is home to Mary and her husband, Ed. They enjoy any chance they can be with their three adult daughters, two sons-in-law, and four grandchildren.
