Rikki Mitsunaga participated in her first Courage to Teach retreat in 2006 and is part of the 2013 Courage & Renewal Facilitator cohort. Rikki was born and grew up in Hawaii but lived abroad in England and South Korea for 10 years; and traveled widely throughout Asia, Canada, and Europe while working within higher education for over 25 years. She received a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Oklahoma and a Masters in Education from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where she is currently pursuing her PhD in Educational Administration. She is excited to be a part of the effort to expand Courage work in Hawaii with Joanne Cooper and Jeff Creswell. Our retreats welcomes all participants with the spirit of ‘Aloha’ and we believe that diversity creates a powerful mix of ideas and experiences that truly enriches our work.
