Ron Petrich recently retired from Augsburg College where he facilitated professional development, conducted vocation retreats, and taught in the Education Department. He continues to teach several courses on Teacher Leadership as an adjunct professor. He has facilitated COURAGE TO TEACH programs and COURAGE TO LEAD programs since 1999. In addition, he consults with educational groups regarding leadership and creating learning environments. He previously worked for thirty years in the Minneapolis Public Schools where he taught in the Social Sciences, wrote curriculum, served as lead mentor teacher, developed and administered a mentorship program for probationary teachers, and served as a professional development coordinator.
