Scott has been an educator since 1987 at the middle, high school and university levels and is now a learning specialist working with schools on initiatives that include teacher renewal, equity, school culture and climate, social emotional learning and building culturally responsive classrooms. Scott has also been a minister and camp director, and is a published poet and songwriter. He has been working with teachers in Courage to Teach® circles since 2009.
