Viki currently teaches the visual arts at Yorktown High School, Arlington, Virginia. She has worked in education for 28 years. She is an advocate of progressive and student-centered education.. Over the course of her career she has worked with Pre-K to adult students in the United States and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Her awards and honors include a number of classroom project grants and a Japan Fulbright Memorial Fund award to study Japanese education and culture. She has been actively involved with Courage and Renewal work since 2009 and is currently enrolled in the Center’s facilitator preparation program.
