About the Role:
The Executive Assistant is a key administrative and operational partner to the Executive Director and the broader leadership team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and effective execution of organizational priorities. The Executive Assistant serves as a highly-visible liaison between leadership, staff, board members, donors, and external stakeholders. This dynamic position requires exceptional relational and organizational skills, the ability to anticipate needs, think critically, and problem-solve with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
This is a remote position, yet we have a strong preference for this person to be physically located in the greater area of Greenville SC. Persons living in the Eastern US time zone may be considered but applicants from other time zones will not be considered.
This is a full-time remote/work-from-home role with occasional travel for events and meetings required. Because of our global presence, some work outside the “typical” office hours will occasionally be required. Starting salary range of $55-60k with benefits that include medical, dental, vision, life/disability, retirement matching, PTO, paid family leave, wellness support, and opportunities for personal and professional development.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Provide sophisticated calendar management for ED. Prioritize inquiries and requests, troubleshoot conflicts to ensure smooth day-to-day engagements.
- Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks that facilitate the ED’s ability to effectively lead the organization, including:
- Coordinate internal and external meetings, including event logistics, agendas, materials, and follow-up actions.
- Draft, edit, and manage correspondence, presentations, and documents.
- Track action items and ensure timely completion of priorities.
- Conduct research and prepare briefings.
- Make travel arrangements and complete expense reports.
- Maintain and update contact and correspondence information in Salesforce.
- Coordinate and support board relations, including scheduling and meeting logistics, preparing, compiling, and distributing meeting packets, tracking action items, and maintaining records.
- Support fundraising and development efforts, including
- Assist with donor communications, acknowledgment letters, and grant application materials.
- Maintain accurate donor and prospect information in Salesforce database.
- Coordinate logistics for fundraising events, donor meetings, and campaigns.
- Conduct research on prospective donors, sponsors, and partners.
- Support preparation of fundraising reports and presentations for leadership and board.
