Fran Baum BA PhD  is an activist academic who works at the University of Adelaide where she does research aimed at making the world healthier, fairer and more sustainable. She is a founding members and has been active in the global People’s Health Movement for 25 years. She is troubled by a world facing multiple crisis and wants to  bring wholeheartedness and mindfulness to struggles to making the world a better place for everyone. She’s currently an apprentice facilitator with the Centre for Courage and Renewal and is gratefully mentored by Noela Maletz and enjoys the challenge and struggle of living the touchstones in her everyday life.

What I Do For Fun, Rest, and Renewal

I love the sea - sailing on our yacht, swimming, kayaking, walking on the beach, and loe living right by the sea in beautiful henley Beach, South Australia I travel a lot for work and pleasure and enjoy new places, new cultures and new perspectives I love dogs and their beautiful souls - I have an ageing spoodle - Lola Paul (my partner) and I have a blended sprawling fmaily who we spend fun time with when we can
