In this divisive and uncertain time, we invite you to step away from the noise and reconnect with what matters most. Based on the work of Parker J. Palmer and the principles of the Center for Courage & Renewal, this retreat offers a day of quiet reflection, meaningful conversation, and shared presence.
This retreat will center around Palmer’s Five Habits of the Heart — practices that can help us reclaim our sense of community, deepen civic courage, and renew our commitment to the common good.
No prior reading is necessary, but themes from Palmer’s book entitled “Healing the Heart of Democracy” will guide our time together.
