Tides of Our Lives

An evening of quiet reflection and conversation by the water’s edge. Under the summer sky we'll explore what’s ebbing, rising, and what wants to be noticed.

Water and moon are inextricably linked – not only by the seashore, where tides ebb and flow. Many of us feel their pull. We watch the moon move through the cycles of dark and light. We’re drawn to the water’s edge, be it lake, river or sea.

What do these two companions – moon and water – have to show us about change and constancy, about the rhythm and flow of our own inner tides?

Join us for a quiet evening of reflection and companionship at Sunnyside Park in Toronto. We’ll be there as the moon lifts over the lake, and close the evening as the sun sets.

Sunnyside Park is located in the west end of Toronto on the shore of Lake Ontario. It is one of a series of parks along the waterfront that has a boardwalk for pedestrians and the Martin Goodman Trail for cyclists and multi-use purposes.
