Remembering our own self-worth is one of the best things black women can do to navigate all that is going on in the world. Doing inner work in the supportive community of other black women makes connecting with our self-love more possible. And it makes this hard and important work enjoyable. The added bonus is that, as we improve our own lived experiences, we help transform the world and improve the lived experiences of others.
In September 2020, we began offering Black Women’s Radical Self-Love (Mini) Retreats. These retreats were so transformative that we offered them again in 2021-2022 and in 2022-2023. You are warmly invited to participate in this transformative retreat series for 2023-2024. In these retreats, we’ll engage in powerful and enjoyable contemplative practices and processes with a loving and supportive group of black women, each doing their own inner work. The remaining retreat is an all day retreat.
