As we mark International Human Rights Day 2023 many of us are floundering with a sense of powerlessness and disbelief at what is happening in so many parts of our world. Never before has there been a more urgent need for a different response to the many crises among humanity and our natural world.
We invite you to spend time with us in a brief Circle of Trust® retreat where we will explore what it means to be Warriors of Love and how turning to wonder can help open our hearts to this warrior love. We will use the Courage & Renewal© approach, pioneered by Parker J. Palmer and the Center for Courage & Renewal. You will have time for personal reflection, small and large group sharing using selected poems, music, and prose.

This offering is our gift; your presence is yours. As an extension of your gift, we invite you to support the work of The Dympna Meaney Women’s Leadership Development Fund (DMF). Bursaries from this fund, set up in 2015, support women across 10 countries to undertake training/education. These women in turn, promote women’s rights and tackle gender/based violence in their communities/workplaces.
Dympna, an inspirational global solidarity activist was a friend who sadly died at 34 years of age in a cycling accident. The fund was instigated in memory of her and her passion for equality and social justice. See https://rb.gy/ic2vlv for further information.
Every amount, no matter how small, will be much valued.
