“Rest is the conversation between what we love to do and how we love to be. “
~ David Whyte
What does it mean to rest?
Where do we find rest?
How would the world change be if we truly rested?
In this 75 minute online retreat we’ll explore these questions, and reflect on the meaning and value of rest for each one of us. We’ll pause for meditation and contemplation, and listen to our own and each other’s wisdom.
We’ll pause for meditation, explore the power of renewal, spend time in quiet reflection, and listen to our own and each other’s wisdom.
We’ll follow the Courage & Renewal® approach, to create a welcoming, caring and trustworthy space for participants to explore what rest means for them
We’ll work with the online setting in a balanced and purposeful way. Zoom will offer a gathering space for our interactions with each other as well as a platform to share images and story. We’ll pause for meditation, engage with a short text, take time off-screen for reflection and observation, and listen to each other’s insights and emergent wisdom.
Whether this is your first experience with courage work or you are a seasoned retreat participant, this micro-retreat offers a simple, gentle opportunity to step away from the busyness and obligations this time of year often presents and listen to the wisdom of your own heart.
