Marie is currently an apprentice in the Center for Courage & Renewal, grounded in Parker Palmer’s approach to honoring the inner teacher and living an undivided life. She invites participants to gentle reflection and meaningful sharing in a small-group setting. A nurse by training, Marie holds a Master of Nursing Administration from Vanderbilt University and brings decades of clinical and executive leadership experience. Her background includes launching new clinical services, guiding diverse teams through organizational change, and championing teamwork amidst complex operational challenges. She now devotes her work to creating trustworthy spaces where people can slow down, listen deeply within, and explore how to live and lead with greater wisdom and resilience.
