Mukta Panda Professor of Medicine is a facilitator with the Center of Courage and Renewal, a practicing internist and Assistant Dean for Medical Student Education at the University of Tennessee – College of Medicine, Chattanooga. Her roles include physician, educator, scholar and administrator with proven track record in clinical, educational and administrative leadership, teaching, academics, student, resident, fellow and faculty education and development, as a clinician and in hospital and university administration. She provides leadership to faculty and staff while guiding, mentoring and teaching medical students, residents, fellows and other healthcare and community related personnel. She received the ACGME Parker J Palmer “Courage to Teach” award in 2008. Her passion, teaching and practice revolve around holistic care for the human, the role of spirituality in health care, self and colleague care and the value of relationships in healthcare.
