Soeren Dallov Ibsen

Soren is currently an apprentice in the Center for Courage  & Renewal Facilitator Preparation Program.

I don´t have a long Curriculum Vitae in teaching and coaching, so I prefer to be personal and private in describing my self.

I am 54 years old. From Denmark. Married to Melanie who is German. We have a daughter, Frida, age 16. I have two children from a previous marriage, Rasmus 22, Emilie 26.

I have been a business owner in the building construction-business for about 15 years. Last year I sold the company. Now I am considering my future.

Right now I am struggling finding the purpose in my life. Until now I have done what I think was expected from the outer world. I have been mostly of my professional life, in the building business handling a lot of conflicts. Deep inside I am not a person who likes conflicts. So I have forced my self through a big part of my work life. And I have been really persistent in “not listen so my self” So now I am longing for beauty, love, piece, creativity etc. in my life. I am practicing to speak my own truth instead of others. I know my future are not in the building business. It´s a difficult process preparing to leave my identification as a successfully businessman having recognition from others. Right now I have found healing, peace, joy and ease in a mix of spirituality and Christianity. So I feel am on the right way back home.
