Thinking about joy can feel complicated right now. How can we feel joy in the face of troubling world events, ecological degradation or personal loss?
The thing is, feeling joy is not frivolous or self-indulgent. Joy is a necessity for helping us move forward with hope, resilience, and purpose.
“Joy is the surprising sprinkle of deep happiness that fills your soul for a moment and then is gone. Joy connects you to all that is good within yourself, and something that is good in the world.” ~Kathy Wagner
This 90-minute retreat invites you to pause, reflect, and rediscover how joy can arise in small, quiet, overlooked moments. Through guided reflection, deep listening, and open-hearted conversation, we’ll create a protected space to nurture joy, even amidst life’s challenges. Drawing on the principles of the Courage & Renewal® Approach, we’ll honor each person’s unique journey, using time-tested practices and reflective exercises to cultivate clarity and connection.
“All we have are moments. So live them as though not one can be wasted. Inhabit them, fill them with the light of your best good intention, honor them with your full presence, find the joy, the calm, the assuredness that allows the hours and the days to take care of themselves. If we can do that, we will have lived.” Richard Wagamese
