Self as Seed -An Introduction to Circle of Trust®

Self as a Seed is a gently guided introduction to Circle of Trust®, offering space for reflection, deep listening, and honest conversation. Through poetry, silence, and shared inquiry, participants are invited to reconnect with their inner wisdom and explore what within them is ready to grow.

Self as a Seed is a six-week introduction retreat to Circle of Trust® retreats developed by the Center for Courage & Renewal. Together we will explore the seed as a living metaphor for the self, holding within it both vulnerability and blueprint, dormancy and potential. What in you is ready to take root? What strength has been quietly forming beneath the surface?

In a carefully guided space grounded in shared touchstones, participants will engage poetry, silence, and open, honest questions to listen more deeply to their inner teacher. During the retreat, participants will have the opportunity to experience a Clearness Committee, a focused time of discernment supported by the group’s attentive listening and honest, open questions.

In a time marked by uncertainty and fear, cultivating a stronger, more rooted sense of self is not self-indulgent; it feels essential. As we grow more grounded within, we strengthen the courage to stand with integrity, respond with compassion, and take our next faithful step in a complex, fractured world.

This program will be held live on Zoom. Participants will gather in the main room for guided reflections and teachings, with opportunities for small-group breakouts for paired or triad sharing. The pace will include silence, personal reflection, and structured whole-group dialogue. No prior Zoom expertise is required.
