Now more than ever, women of color in ministry need a place to rest, replenish, and be witnessed and supported in trustworthy circles of care. Women of color serving as spiritual leaders carry a heavy load in providing pastoral care for faith communities while also being personally impacted by systemic racism and sexism, especially in the current political climate. This retreat series will begin by gathering in person. It will be followed by 3 additional seasonal online retreats.
As women who embody various aspects of faith and spirituality, we are called to tend to everyone in our inner and outer circles. The question is, “Who is tending to us? Who is tending to our souls?”
Join us to:
· Find ways to go deeper into yourself
· Find peace and joy in the community of others
· Reconnect your soul vs your role in life
· Cultivate hope for your soul in this unpredictable world landscape
As your facilitators we will guide you on this journey with thoughtful reflection practices connecting with others while providing times for silence and rest.
This retreat will be on site at the Villa Maria del Mar Retreat Center located in Santa Cruz, CA right on the beach.
