This international online retreat is for men and male-identifying participants seeking a return to center while navigating the tension between today’s harsh realities and the world we know is possible. We invite participants into a space for authenticity, connection, and deep reflection. Together, we will explore what it means to rediscover wholeness in ourselves and in community, as we counter the forces of division, which are seeking to separate and isolate us from our inner lives and from each other.
Our intention is to create a trustworthy and inclusive space that reflects a wide range of voices, experiences, and identities. All who identify as men and bring diverse perspectives are encouraged to apply. In our selection process, we will be intentional about cultivating a rich and varied circle.
Over six sessions we will be guided by Parker Palmer’s “Habits of the Heart”, considering how these habits and the practices of the Courage & Renewal® approach can support us personally and professionally as men committed to living and acting with integrity. Each of the sessions will include opportunities for personal reflection, creative and somatic practices, and small and large group sharing—using the principles and practices of a Circle of Trust®.
Prerequisite: Previous participation in a Circle of Trust®, the CCR’s Core Programs, or other related Courage & Renewal programs that provide a familiarity with the Touchstones, Honest Open Questions, and other CCR approaches.
