Explore the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that hold us back while also identifying new choices and practices that move us toward more authentic and wholehearted living. Daily sessions are interactive, fun, and insightful. We will use our time together to create the needed space for pause and stillness to reunite mind, body, and spirit. Each morning begins with educational sessions and a hearty breakfast, followed by daily activities in the scenic beauty of Baja California, Mexico. Accompanied by friendly and knowledgeable guides, our days are filled with a soulful blend of scenic hiking, ocean experiences, educational insights, and fabulous food. There is ample opportunity for personal reflection, self-care, and time to enjoy the healing opportunities that this beachfront retreat offers.
Each evening, we have the opportunity to meet for social hour, daily debriefing, and rejuvenation of your mind, soul, and trekking legs before enjoying lovely dinners. During this adventure, expert facilitators provide daily sessions inspired by the Center for Courage & Renewal, Brené Brown’s The Daring Way™ programs, as well as research from other thought leaders on spiritual and emotional wellbeing.
You can fly directly into La Paz or can choose to fly to Cabo San Lucas and rent a car or take a shuttle for the 2-hour trip to La Paz.

La Paz, founded in 1535 by the Spanish Explorer, Hernando Cortez, will be our home for the next week. La Paz is well known for its sea life. So much that it lured Jacques Cousteau to arrive here yearly to watch the whale migrations. La Paz, literally translated to “The Peace,” seems a fitting place for this retreat focused on reclaiming your power through radiance and relaxation. As you arrive here the day before our formal retreat starts, you can take in local arts and culture, explore the outdoors, indulge in a unique dining scene, or just sit by the pool and relax. Plan to arrive anytime this day. The retreat will begin at 7am the next morning. We recommend you fly directly into La Paz but flying into Cabo San Lucas and renting a car or taking a shuttle to La Paz is also a reasonable option.
Tonight we are staying at the Hyatt Place.
Morning educational sessions are a deep dive into gratitude, relationships and mindset. After our sessions, we will experience a hike along the Malecon and continue along the Marina Palmira – Playa La Concha. These are popular trails for birding, fishing and hiking. But you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of the day. We will also be offering Daily Nature Therapy opportunities with our guides. We will end our hike in downtown La Paz and meet for dinner at a local restaurant. 5.7 miles/305 ft elevation
Tonight we stay at the Hyatt Place. Breakfast included.
Morning educational sessions will be on creating space in our busy life – how to get clear on our values and set boundaries and allow for a new story of meaning and purpose to arise. Today we hike the Cerro de la Calavera trail. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, the Cerro de la Calavera got its spooky name from its unusual rock formations and arches along this hike. As you get to the crest of the hill, you will have beautiful views of La Paz and the Gulf of California. After hiking, we will return to the hotel for reflection time and optional massage or reiki sessions. 3.8 miles/ 780 ft elevation
Tonight we are staying at the Hyatt Place. Breakfast included.
Morning educational sessions will focus on perfectionism, grief and forgiveness. Today we will travel to the desert island paradise, Isla Espíritu Santo, (Holy Spirit Island) often called the Jewel of the Sea of Cortez. This island is small and rocky, with over a dozen white sand beaches surrounded by water so clear you can see the colorful fish from above the surface. The island’s name means “Holy Spirit,” which seems fitting for a place that leaves you feeling cleansed and renewed by its magical mix of solitude, sun, sand, and saltwater. You will have time to snorkel over the beautiful coral reef, swim with sealions, and enjoy the pristine beaches of this amazing uninhabited island.
Tonight we are staying at the Hyatt Place. Breakfast included.
Morning educational sessions will use clearness committees to focus on how to create the life you desire. Today will be a free day to enjoy the local arts and culture, rent a stand-up paddleboard, go kayaking, biking, or maybe just sit on the beach, relax and do a little local shopping. This is also a great day for reflection time and optional massage or reiki sessions.

Morning educational sessions will focus on transitions and continue to hone the vision for your new life with more meaning, purpose and joy. We will travel to Balandra Beach. Which is actually a sheltered bay with seven different beaches. With its crystal clear water, beautiful sandy beaches and stunning desert mountains covered in giant Cardon cacti, it’s not hard to see why Balandra is ranked as one of the best beaches in the world. Balandra is a pristine stretch of untouched paradise, where nature shines. Today we will also enjoy a special nature activity while at Balandra.
