Minding the Gap: A Yoga and Courage & Renewal Retreat
Is your life feeling fragmented or out of sorts? Are you ready to “put the pieces together” and feel more grounded, whole, and at home in your own being? Set in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley, this retreat weaves together key elements of the Courage & Renewal approach with time-honored yoga practices. If you’re seeking stillness, spacious rest, and opportunities to reconnect who you are with how you show up in the world, this retreat is designed for you.
This program is being independently organized and led by a Courage & Renewal Facilitator(s) prepared by the Center for Courage & Renewal. Parker Palmer writes that we all live in a “tragic gap,” a space between our life as it might be and our life as it is. This space is filled with challenge and opportunity, tension and aspiration. Is there a place where you find yourself standing in a “tragic gap”; that space between what “IS” and “what could be”? Is your life feeling fragmented or out of sorts? Are you ready to “put the pieces together” and feel more grounded, whole, and at home in your being? If these questions are as alive for you as they are for us, we invite you to this Circle of Trust®. All levels are welcomed to the yoga mat, where you will experience a variety of movements, meditations, mantras, music, and breathing practices. In both solitude and community, our Circle of Trust will hold space for reflecting on the challenges of daily living and our aspirations for a more grounded and present life. Come as you are and give yourself this gift to connect with your innate wholeness.
“Life is an incredible curriculum in which we live it richly and passionately as a way of awakening to the deepest truths of our being.”
~Ram Dass
