As busy educators, it can be difficult to stay attuned to our own voice amid the many demands and pressures of our work. This Circle of Trust® workshop, grounded in the writing of Parker J. Palmer and the Center for Courage & Renewal, offers a space for caring and committed educators to slow down, reflect, and listen deeply to themselves and one another. Together, we will reconnect with the meaning and purpose that nourish our lives as educators.
During this full-day, online workshop we will have the opportunity to reflect in solitude and in community with other educators to:
- Share stories of our life and work experiences
- Remember the hopes and dreams that brought us to our vocation
- Entertain possibilities for the year ahead
We will turn to our own stories and experiences, those of others in the circle, as well as insights from diverse creators of poetry, art, music, and other visual media to help us connect with ourselves and one another. Join us as we courageously navigate the realities of education in these challenging times.
