This international online retreat is for men and male-identifying participants navigating the tension between today’s harsh realities and the world we know is possible. We invite you into a space of authenticity, deep connection, and honest reflection. We will explore what it means to rediscover wholeness, both within ourselves and in community, as we resist the forces of division that seek to separate us from our inner lives and from one another.
We will explore how the Principles and Practices of the Courage & Renewal® approach can resource us, both personally and professionally, as men committed to living the fullest expression of our humanity. This approach has been used among populations around the world and in all kinds of settings for over 30 years. Together, we will create space for personal reflection, creative and somatic practices, and small and large group sharing. In this container, we can find the internal and external support we need to thrive.
This Circle of Trust® retreat will be shaped by Parker J. Palmer’s work known as the Five Habits of the Heart. These are five foundational orientations that form the way we see, engage, and respond to both our individual lives and our life together in community. These habits engage the whole person: our minds, our emotions, our sense of self, and our deepest convictions about meaning and purpose. Together, they serve as guideposts for those who aspire to live and lead with integrity and wholeness.
Our intention is to cultivate a trustworthy and inclusive space that honors a wide range of voices, experiences, and identities. If you carry an identity that is often underrepresented in spaces like this, we especially encourage you to apply. In our selection process, we will be as intentional as possible about building a circle that is genuinely rich in diversity.
