This experience offers three weekend Circle of Trust®Retreats and individual one to one professional/personal development coaching. Participants will be invited to use their lived experiences, past and present family history, learned knowledge and skills, inner wisdom, birthright gifts and emotional core as lenses to reflect on their individual narrative.

Engaging in this program will offer you an opportunity to gain greater clarity and insight to yourself, using pro-social human skillsets and pathways that can help you in living an undivided, more contented life.

The inner- sight that often unfolds in retreat can open a lens that, together with your inner wisdom, birthright gifts, and goals, support you in building a healthy relationship with self and others.

We need this inner-sight and healthy way of being at every age and stage of life – at every chapter and transition. The greatest investment we can make is to take the time to give to ourselves in ways that nurture and enhance our growth and well-being.

I have spent 40 years as an experiential educator, focusing on how lived experiences impact our life choices. My work with women in coaching and in retreat has uncovered a particular set of human skills that I believe supports our health and well-being – With this in mind, our Group Gatherings will reflect on the value of these competencies, (C.L.A.S.P): Courage, Compassion, Learning, Love, Alignment, Awareness, Sustenance, Self-Reliance, Perseverance, and Perspective.  (For more about Lori visit her non-profit website: www.CreateSafeSpace.org)

Our time together will be dynamic, interactive, experiential, thoughtful and fun. I look forward to welcoming you to The Farmhouse!

This retreat approach is based on the work of Parker J. Palmer and the Center for Courage & Renewal.  Described in Palmer’s book A Hidden Wholeness, the experience focuses on cultivating our inner capacity to live a more authentic, meaningful, and engaged life. Informed by Courage & Renewal principles, practices, and touchstones, together we can create a trustworthy, brave space with our attention, intention, imagination, and confidential conversations.

November 11-13, 2022 – What We Keep: A Journey of Self-Exploration, Discerning Life by reflecting on our experiences and choices.

Coaching Sessions:

Lori will offer every participant (4 ) – 50 minute coaching session, the first session will be scheduled with Lori prior to the November Retreat, and then you will have an opportunity to schedule a coaching session after each of the 3 weekend retreats. The coaching sessions will be used as extensions to the goals and work you are setting for yourselves during the Retreats Weekends – to grapple with the questions you may be asking, hold the truths of your lived-experiences, create new narratives and paths to support healthy relationships with yourself and others, and anything else that may be bubbling up for you.
