Courage & Renewal Facilitator
Speaks English

Matsya Siosal is an experienced leader having held roles with for-profit corporations, small and large, mission-driven consumer goods companies, in higher education, and as a consultant and entrepreneur. Currently she is director of the Center for Community Engagement at Lewis & Clark’s Graduate School of Education and Counseling, a position she has held since 2015. She is also co-founder and managing partner of Sea-O-Salt Bath Company. Matsya is a Courage & Renewal® Facilitator prepared by the Center for Courage & Renewal and has been facilitating Circle of Trust, Courage to Lead and Leading Together workshops and retreats since 2019. As a facilitator, coach and embodied leadership mentor, Matsya supports heart-centered, mission-driven leaders in accessing their sovereignty, uncovering their authentic voice, and finding clarity and self-trust so they can show up fully and lovingly impact their communities, while making progressive internal and structural change. Introduced to the work of Parker Palmer and Courage & Renewal when she joined Lewis & Clark in 2010, participation in Courage programs have enabled Matsya to navigate the challenges that come with leadership with more clarity and resilience, as well as supported her in creating greater balance and wholeness within the personal and professional dimensions of her life. As a Courage & Renewal facilitator, Matsya finds purpose and joy in holding space for people to do that very counter-cultural act of slowing down, tuning in to their own innate wisdom and practicing deep care of self and community.
