Chapter 4: Circles of Trust

A community of peers can help us discern our inner truth and support us in the demands of embracing it. But for true self to show up, the community must make a promise to protect it. The Circle of Trust is a form of community where we co-create safe space using a set of common ground rules. The Circle honors the integrity every person in the group and invites the most trusting – and trustworthy – parts of ourselves to show up.

This video is part of a series included in “A Hidden Wholeness Hub” that invites us into deeper contemplation of the dynamic between our inner lives and our outer bearing in the world. This video series is referenced in Parker Palmer’s book A Hidden Wholeness: The Journey Toward An Undivided Life. Expanding on the principles and practices developed by Parker J. Palmer and the Center for Courage & Renewal, these videos offer insight and guidance for all who seek to map an inner journey toward wholeness, to live a more authentic, meaningful and resilient life.
