Our Leading from Within Retreat runs from Thursday evening, dinner, to Saturday noon. This retreat will focus on exploring our personal season of fall: ” The seed of True Self (Autumn). Autumn is a season of great beauty, but it is also a season of decline: the days grow shorter, the light is diffused, and summer’s abundance decays toward winter’s death. Yet in the midst of decay, nature scatters her own seeds of regeneration.” (Parker J. Palmer).
We will focus on the personal season of fall and the possibilities being planted to bear fruit in the seasons yet to come, from selfhood, to vocation, and to our lives. We provide a gracious space to deeply listen to our own inner teacher, to other, and to be listened to. We build community through trust and laughter, solitude and silence, rest and journaling, art, poetry, and mindful immersion into nature.
Participants will have time for solitary and group work, walks in the beautiful Gull Lake nature area, and rest, ensuring a balanced and enriching retreat experienc
