“Before I can tell my life what I want to do with it, I must
listen to my life telling me who I am.”
~Parker J. Palmer
In times of change and uncertainty how do you sustain ‘the why’ of what you do?
Cultivating purpose and meaning in work is important for creating cultures where humanity, compassion, and intelligent kindness is at its heart.
Yet, many of us work in settings that dis-courage us from paying attention to what originally brought us to our work. When we fail to pay attention and be present, we end up disconnected from our vocational purpose.
In this online retreat, we invite you to discover a unique kind of professional development, one that allows you time to deepen self awareness and restore professional vitality. In groups and individually, you will have opportunities to attend to and nurture your inner wisdom. We will use a creative approach that incorporates poetry, storytelling, music, and nature. In this way, we offer space to connect at a deeper level with your life and work.
This online Circle of Trust® retreat, is based on the Courage & Renewal® approach, developed by writer, teacher and social activist Parker J. Palmer.
The Retreat focus is on:
● Creating space for careful listening and deep connection
● Reconnecting to one’s identity and integrity
● Identifying our gifts, strengths and acknowledging our limits.
● Renewing vocational vitality and deepening professional practice.
Who Should Attend? Anyone interested in deepening their connection between who they are with what they do. Space is limited to 18 participants. When you say “yes” to this retreat, you say “yes” to committing to attend the whole retreat series.
