Finding Courage and Grace in Liminal Space: A Circle of Trust®Retreat

Where in your life are you being invited to pause and be with what is, not to rush ahead, but to sit and honor the space between no longer and not yet? If you find yourself longing for certainty, you are not alone. Rather than rushing what is not yet ready to emerge, what might it look like to remain present with courage and grace? This Circle of Trust® retreat invites you to attend to what is, as we notice the gifts that arise in the liminal space.

“Honor the space between no longer and not yet.”
~ Nancy Levin

How do you hold the space that exists between no longer and not yet?  How do you stand in that liminal space between what was and what might be? For some, these in-between spaces create a deepening quiet, or curiosity. For others, the uncertainty of this liminal space can evoke discomfort or even anxiety, urging us to move quickly toward what feels steady. When we slow down and find the courage to remain rooted in our integrity, we discover the grace found in learning to trust life’s unfolding.

Whether releasing what no longer serves us or expanding into who we are becoming, life is marked by threshold moments that call us to pause and listen even more deeply. When we are able to linger in the unknown, we create a spaciousness for insight, wisdom, and possibility to emerge.

Grounded in the Courage & Renewal® approach, this retreat invites you into a shared wondering: What threshold are you standing at? How do you slow down and learn to be present with the unknown? How do you pay exquisite attention to this moment before stepping into what is yet to come? Through the rhythm of solitude and community, we will explore how to remain present, with courage and grace, within the space between what has been and what is not yet revealed.

This retreat will offer:

  • Foundational touchstones that steady us in trustworthy relationships and courageous listening
  • Solitude and community to notice how we hold moments of transition woven into the seasons of our lives
  • Silence that creates space for quiet wisdom to rise from within
  • Spaciousness for creatively honoring what is revealed in the holy pause of thresholds
  • Clearness Committee: a sacred and intentional practice of discernment
