For this four day and three night retreat we will meet during the fullness of spring when the abundance of light and energy invites us to remember all that brought us to this time in our lives. As we engage in practices that encourage our self care, we can reclaim our power to meet our calling in these challenging times. This retreat is designed for those who wish to imagine the highest possibilities for ourselves, our organizations, our communities and our families.
We will invite the beauty of our location on Hood Canal where we will gather, to be a teacher and guide as we view the majesty of the Olympic Mountains, stroll the rocky shores of the fjord, and enjoy the gardens and many forest trails nearby.
Together we will…
- Pause, breathe, embrace silence, and disconnect from technology and our demanding pace of life;
- Reduce isolation and build communities of care that provide support in hard times and act as containers for liberatory innovations;
- Identify reflective practices that increase personal and professional resilience and agency;
- Learn to ask open-ended questions that help us and others uncover inner wisdom;
- Expand capacity to be fully present to ourselves and others in ways that affirm and heal;
- Strengthen our ability to hold paradox, moving beyond either-or thinking into holding opposing truths and complexity;
- Learn and participate in a Clearness Committee, designed after a powerful problem-solving model from the 1600’s.
We are excited to have you join us in this retreat, grounded in the Circle of Trust approach, designed to build a trustworthy space for telling our truths and listening to the truths of others.
