Navigating Life Changes: A Retreat on The Ghost River

To find our way takes courage, an open heart and insight, especially in these confusing times. In a trustworthy guided process, we can help each other to rediscover our sense of direction.

This 4-night retreat is for you if you:

Are longing for greater self-discovery;
Are in the process of making a life decision and seeking guidance and inner wisdom;
Enjoy integrating soulful self learning with poetry, meditation and awareness;
Value the teaching of Parker J. Palmer and the Circle of Trust® lineage;
Yearn for a loving community and living with a whole heart: in greater alignment with true self.

The theme guiding this exploration of navigating life is ‘wayfinding’.

Wayfinding is the traditional art of sailing the open ocean. Dan is grateful to share his learning over the past years with the wayfinding navigators that have taught him. Through practices that will include poetry, storytelling, visual images, journal writing, mindfulness, and large and small group work, we will be attentive to our lives, listening to our hearts and minds, and letting our personal narratives speak to us. The stories and imagery of wayfinding will guide us as we navigate the complex environment of a human life.

Dan offers a quiet space for soulful growth and learning. We will have time to reflect, meditate, write, and safely consider what emerges from within ourselves. This Courage & Renewal approach and Clearness Committee process were developed from centuries of community spiritual wisdom.

The retreat begins with an evening gathering on Nov. 27, 2024.
We end with lunch on Dec. 1, 2024
