Winter Stirrings: Seeds of Courage

When we take the time, we can hear our body’s wisdom and align with what is calling for attention. Rather than resolutions, let's begin 2023 in deep relationship.

Within each of us there is a silence, a silence as vast as the universe.
And when we experience that silence, we remember who we are.
~ Gunilla Norris

Winter is the season of deep listening. Whispers that are birthed inside of us and in the earth are just beginning to dream and stretch. When we take the time, we can hear our body’s wisdom and align with what is calling for attention. Rather than resolutions, let’s begin 2023 in deep relationship.

We invite you to this Circle of Trust© to renew your courage for these challenging times in the world. You are needed as we all contribute to the whole. Let’s connect with our deep truths to cultivate seeds of wonder, inquiry and courage.

Circle of Trust© retreats offer a unique opportunity to slow down, renew and kindle one’s courage. Based on the work of educator and activist, Parker J. Palmer, a (A Hidden Wholeness, Let Your Life Speak, The Courage to Teach), and the Center for Courage & Renewal, each circle brings together core practices of reflection and connection to align soul and role.

In this January retreat, together, we will:

♦Nurture personal and professional integrity and the courage to act on it
♦Listen to our innate ways of knowing, exploring internal pace, movement, and creative expression to discern desires and direction.
♦Work in community with small group, whole group, and individual time to connect with land, others and self.
♦Begin the year on a note that deeply resonates with the spacious knowing of our souls.
♦Create reminders to embody relational and communal care.

This retreat is facilitated by Courage and Renewal facilitators, joined by Suzanne Birdsall-Stone who brings practice, movement and art to the world. She values circles and community building, creating and welcoming them into her professional and personal life. She lives in the White Mountains of NH.
