We will gather during the fullness of spring when the abundance of light and energy invites us to remember all that has brought us this far as individuals, as leaders, for this crucial moment in history. As we engage in practices that encourage both self and community care, we can reclaim our power to meet our calling in these increasingly challenging times. This retreat is designed for those who wish to imagine the highest possibilities for ourselves, our organizations, our communities, our families and our ancestors. With courage, compassion and creativity we will share practices to hold our current realities, wherever we find ourselves.
We will invite the beauty of this special land above the Columbia Gorge to be a teacher and guide.
Together we will…
- Pause, breathe, embrace silence, and disconnect from technology and our demanding pace of life;
- Reduce isolation and build communities of care that provide support in hard times and act as containers for liberatory innovations;
- Identify reflective practices that helps us to embrace our grief and build hope for the future of our communities;
- Deepen our skills to ask open-ended questions that help us and others uncover inner wisdom;
- Expand capacity to be fully present to ourselves and others in ways that affirm and heal;
- Strengthen our ability to hold paradox, moving beyond either-or thinking into holding opposing truths and complexity;
- Learn and participate in a Clearness Committee, designed after a powerful problem-solving model from the 1600’s.
We are excited to have you join us in this retreat, grounded in the Courage & Renewal® approach, upon which Circle of Trust® is based, designed to build a trustworthy space for telling our truths and listening to the truths of others.
