A weekly online Circle of Trust experience of soulful inquiry. Guided by Dan Hines exploring David Whyte's inspiring essays in Consolations.
This program is being independently organized and led by a Courage & Renewal Facilitator(s) prepared by the Center for Courage & Renewal. While we support our facilitators in various ways, CCR has no direct responsibility for the planning or facilitation of this event. We have all suffered.
Consolation is the act of caring and providing meaningful comfort to another in these challenging times: in the ongoing complexity of the human experience. To console another requires a depth of inner wisdom.
David Whyte provides rich insights from his collection of 52 poignant essays: Consolations. Each week, we will open up another of his writings. Dan serves as the guide in the Circle of Trust Approach that informs these virtual 90 minute gatherings. We will have special guest facilitators on some sessions.
It is strongly recommended that participants have a copy of David’s inspiring book. Yet, Dan will offer an evocative reflection and questions for each session, that will ‘prime the pump’!
If you are new to these quiet circles, or a seasoned veteran, you are invited to this series of sessions on Zoom. We begin on Wednesday Jan. 8, 2025.
Please note* You don’t have to attend all eight sessions! Feel free to join us when you can.
Each session stands on it’s own.
Dates: 8 consecutive Wednesdays, Jan. 8- Feb. 26, 2025 at 6:30 pm PST.
