This 2.5-day retreat offers a unique opportunity for personal and professional exploration and growth within the vibrant backdrop of New York City. Within the vibrant hum of the city, we’ll co-create a trustworthy haven for introspection on the theme, “a hidden wholeness,” embarking on a deeply personal yet profoundly communal inward journey.
Through self-awareness and deep listening, we’ll explore the various facets of the self that empower and challenge our ability to be fully present in the world as social change agents. Reconnect with the voice of your inner wisdom, a guide towards finding your own personal wholeness—and taking that self to engage our broken world.

This retreat will feature Clearness Committees. In your application to the retreat, you will be able to designate whether you desire to be a “focus person,” someone who thinks deeply about an issue–transitional, vocational, relational, or spiritual–while a group of your peers serve as “committee members,” asking open honest questions for 1 ½ hour.
Numerous participants have commented on the profound experience of the Clearness Committee–both as “focus person” and “committee members” due to its ability to offer a unique way of being together in community. Everyone will be prepped for the experience of the Clearness Committee during the retreat; however you may read more about this practice here.
*Please note that in the event we have too many persons who sign up to be a clearness committee focus person, we will hold a drawing of names for who will be our focus persons for this retreat.

Who should attend?
This retreat is open to leaders across all fields with a desire for advancing personal and communal transformation. We welcome individuals from diverse backgrounds who share a burning desire to embody courage necessary towards being whole in their own life context and extend that wholeness toward the issues and conditions of their local community, or the broader world. We invite educators, administrators, lawyers, professional coaches, managers, elected officials, clergy, activists, nonprofit and corporate leaders, and beyond.

This is a non-residential retreat. For those traveling to NYC to attend the retreat, you can contact Anthony for suggestions or search lodging options (hotel, AirBNB) near the venue.
Recommended areas would be: Downtown Brooklyn, Fort Greene, Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn Heights, Boerum Hill, Park Slope.
