In an age of speed, I began to think, nothing could be more invigorating than going slow.
In an age of distraction, nothing can  feel more luxurious than paying attention.
And in an age of constant movement, nothing is more urgent than sitting still.
~Pico Iyer, The Art of Stillness: Adventures in Going Nowhere
We invite you to a unique online gathering rooted in the Courage & Renewal® Approach—a space intentionally designed to honour invitation, integrity, and deep confidentiality.  Together, we will practice slowing down to be present to ourselves and listening deeply to one another.
If you are tired of typical Zoom meetings, you will find something entirely different here. Our shared pause will be held in a safe, trustworthy environment where we can help “hear each other into deeper speech” and understanding.
No previous experience with this approach is required. All are welcome. Â
Our complementary gathering will be taking place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. EST on Tuesday, November 24, 2026.
This program is being independently organized and led by a Courage & Renewal Facilitator(s) prepared by the Center for Courage & Renewal. While we support our facilitators in various ways, CCR has no direct responsibility for the planning or facilitation of this event.
