We are all aging. How we choose to live, as we age, is up to us. Living a Lasting Legacy invites anyone, regardless of age, who yearns to show up more fully to their life; to openly explore the challenges and gifts of aging; to surrender to and be transformed by the aging process.
This program is being independently organized and led by a Courage & Renewal Facilitator(s) prepared by the Center for Courage & Renewal. While we support our facilitators in various ways, CCR has no direct responsibility for the planning or facilitation of this event. Experience the power and peace of the New Mexico landscape at Ghost Ranch, made famous by painter Georgia O’Keefe. It encompasses 21,000 acres of towering rock walls, vivid colors and vast skies.
Our retreat will be held at Casa De Sol on the property of Ghost Ranch. We will have exclusive use of this Adobe home that surrounds an open courtyard. Casa De Sol is set at the base of a multi-colored 700-foot tall cliff wall. Some of our accommodations may be at other lodging on the property.
We will have ample time during the retreat to explore the landscape and other amenities of Ghost Ranch and the nearby Abiquiu Artist Community.
This Circle of Trust retreat is rooted in The Soul of Aging, a small-group program based on the work of Dr. Parker Palmer and The Center for Courage & Renewal. We are all aging. How we choose to live, as we age, is up to us. Living a Lasting Legacy invites anyone, regardless of age, who yearns to show up more fully to their life; to openly explore the challenges and gifts of aging; to surrender to and be transformed by the aging process. We will create and hold a safe space in which we may seek a deeper understanding of how to age well, with dignity integrity, and joy.
During our retreat time we will also offer the experience of a Clearness Committees, a powerful discernment process from the Quaker tradition, adapted for Circle of Trust retreats.
